Has anyone tried this? Am I missing something?
A client wants to transfer their .org.uk domains to me, but godaddy don't have any option for changing an IPSTAG and their help files don't even mention it. I presume this is down to them being a US company.
I'd rather not have to ring the US to sort it, so has anyone found a way round this?
You will need to do this AT LEAST 4 weeks before the Domain Name expires
As with most US based registrars you need to process this manually, as they are setup for UNLOCK and EPP keys
Submit a support ticket or contact them, include a phrase that the IPSTAG must be updated within 7 days and confirmed by email within 7 days
Alternatively go to Nominet and login to the Domain Name control panel and update the IPSTAG there
If this doesn't happen, then your customer will have to go the Nominet route, this costs about £15 (paid to Nominet) _________________ Professional website hosting, from £1.00 per year
