I used to know how to stop this from happening, but cannot find the setting; it only happens on my laptop!

Visit this dead URL in the browser
Code:
www.kalonstore.com

Taken to google.com : http://www.google.com/search?source=ie7&q=www.kalonstore.com&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7TSEA;

Using IE 8 and as above cannot find the setting to switch off this option

Performed a REGEDIT, searched and deleted all entries :

http://www.google.com/search?source=ie7

That worked a treat and has also disabled the "Search box", which I never used anyway!
